Detune
Stereo Detune (SD) - Allows you to de-tune the stereo sound of the generator, by applying a slightly different frequency at the left and right sound channels. This adds to the stereo panorama of the sound produced, and creates a 'stereo flange' effect. When the knob is in the middle, the effect is turned off.
When you use multiple oscillators playing the same waveform that are slightly detuned against each other, the sound becomes fatter/more rich. The famous "Supersaw" sound is an extreme example of this (many oscillators playing the saw waveform, each osc slightly detuned).
Come possiamo vedere dall'immagine abbiamo il segnale Dry (parte scura) ampliato leggermente dal segnale effettato a destra e a sinistra (i bordi più chiari).
Il detune permette di cambiare la tonalità del suono originale (lo dice anche il nome).Lavoriamo su entrambi i canali a nostra disposizione: per il canale left impostiamo un pitch di +10. allo stesso modo impostiamo il canale right con un pitch di -10.
L'abbassamento o l'innalzamento di 10 punti non presenta una stonatura sensibile e nociva all'intonazione naturale, ma il fatto che andiamo a creare questa tolleranza di più e meno 10 punti ci consente di triplicare in modo fasullo la nostra chitarra mantenendola all'unisono.
